Paying for Consumption

Dear Consumer,

You have choices, a lot of choices. The most important is the choice not to consume. There are alternatives and you either know what they are or you can find out. There is no lack of information today, so we have the knowledge at our fingertips. This is very unlike just the previous generation.

If you question the value of a product to consume, don't just buy it. Think first how this product is going to add value. Most times the pitch on a product is laser marketed directly towards a problem, but can often create other considerations. So this marketing appeals to you and so you try it and as often is the case, for example household cleaning products, it was a waste of money. Don't give in to impulse.

We the consumer have a choice and our choice is to use our experience as consumers to send a message. This message is simple, that we want more value and product. We want good design and products well thought through. In only this way can we change the way business operate and bring to market products.
